Practical Advocacy Training
for Commercial Lawyers

Advocacy is the art of persuasive written and oral communication. All commercial lawyers need to be able to communicate persuasively – with tribunals, with clients, with witnesses, with other lawyers. All commercial lawyers, not just courtroom advocates, therefore need good advocacy skills.

I provide practical training that helps commercial lawyers improve their advocacy skills.

About me

I practised as a commercial barrister in London for over 20 years. During that time, I acted in a wide variety of court and arbitral proceedings for a range of commercial clients.

For over a decade, I have also taught the theory and practice of advocacy to graduate law students, first at University College London and then at Queen Mary, University of London.

I now provide training to commercial lawyers that combines some of the lessons I have learned as an advocate and teacher.
